FormedAbroad is published by Zyra Alpha LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. All commissions are received by that entity.
What an affiliate link means
An affiliate link is a tracked URL. When you click it and later create an account or make a purchase, the provider credits us with the referral and pays a commission — sometimes a fixed amount, sometimes a percentage, sometimes recurring for a limited period.
We participate in affiliate programs both directly with providers and through affiliate networks, including Awin.

How we keep this honest
The commercial relationship does not decide the verdict. Concretely:
- We pay for the services we recommend. Our accounts are ordinary paying customer accounts.
- Rankings are not for sale. No company can pay to be listed first, and none has editorial input before publication.
- We recommend options that pay us nothing when they are the better fit.
- We publish the drawbacks. Every provider we cover has a section explaining who it is wrong for.
- We disclose in context. Pages containing affiliate links carry a visible notice, not just this page.
What our recommendations are based on
Our judgments come from first-hand use as a non-US resident: what the signup actually required, whether a foreign address was accepted, what support answered, and what the service cost at renewal rather than at promotional pricing.
Where we have not personally used a service, we say so explicitly in the article and describe it from publicly available information only.
Pricing accuracy
Prices and commission structures change. We review our comparison pages on a regular schedule and display an update date on each one. Always confirm current pricing on the provider’s own site before purchasing — that page, not ours, is authoritative.
